Send Xavier to D.R. & Haiti: Chiropractic Mission Trip

Dear family and friends, I hope you are all well and staying on top of your health. I am continuing my fourth trimester at Parker University for my journey to become a doctor of chiropractic. This year has been one filled with trials and victories. I originally planned to take this trip in May '24, but I blew my knee out and needed immediate surgery. Terrible timing to say the least! Although I could not walk for months and missed the original trip, I still creatively found ways to work on my chiropractic craft. My surgeon said it would take 6 months minimum to feel like I am back to 80% healed. I'm 2 months ahead of schedule due to the power of chiropractic and utilizing my education on recovery that Parker University has given me. Now that I have recovered enough, I am ready to go serve on this mission from August 18-24. I am very exciting as I've been involved in many of the school clubs and attended countless seminars all to improve my skill sets. Not only will this trip help this community, but it will also improve my abilities as an aspiring chiropractor that I will then give back to our local community back here States-side. This mission trip is with Chiromissions. It is a one-week Work-and-Volunteer trip to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. This opportunity allows me to help out the orphanages including treating the children and engaging in activities that will help their community. For this trip to be possible, I am responsible for raising $3,000. This cost includes transportation, housing, and food. My goal is to raise the money necessary to go fully sponsored. I know this economy is rough on almost all of us in some capacity, so I will feel extremely grateful and blessed by any donations you give. As important as the financial aspect is, I will value your prayers even more -- not only for me but for our team while we are there.
