As many of you may know, Wes Pace has been battling with leukemia for more than two years. He has had two bone marrow transplants and on August 15, 2022, he was given the news that his second transplant had failed and the cancer was returning. Unfortunately, this is likely the end of the road for treatment for him, barring a modern day miracle of medicine. Wes has gone to great lengths to work through his treatments and provide for his family, despite regularly feeling completely drained from chemotherapy multiple times per week over the past two years. His Herculean efforts have kept his family housed, fed, and clothed and, for that alone, he is a real life superhero. Recently, I had a conversation with Wes and he told me that the one thing he wants to be able to do before he goes is to take his son to New York City. His son is a massive Spider-Man fan and he’s always wanted to go to New York to see where Spider-Man lives. Due to financial constraints, Wes is unable to make this dream come true for his son. It would be amazing, however, if we could do that for him. Thank you so much for your donation. This man is such an incredible human and he deserves to be able do this for his son.
