Send the Thompson Family to Israel!

Can you help us send Lachlann and Shanna Thompson and their six children to Israel?  We are planning to send Lachlann and Shanna and their children, Eliysheva (7), Chizkiyah (6), Chaya (4), Tefilah (3), Tzedkiel (1) and a new little one due in July, on a six week trip to Israel with HaYovel this fall.  This has been a prayer and a hope for all of them for four years now, and a special prayer that the children have been praying for. Ever since our first trip to Israel four years ago, their uncle and aunties have been telling them about Israel. We taught the two oldest, who were then 3 and 2, to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They soon added to that the prayer to go to Israel with the aunties. As soon as their younger siblings began to talk, they taught them to pray also.   Every year, they have begged us to bring them along or put them in our suitcases!   In 2016, we sent Lachlann to Israel for a three week trip. While the children were excited that their daddy got to go to Israel, they cried because they couldn’t go too. Since then, they have continued to pray, but now they pray that ‘our whole family go to Israel’.  Last year, for the Harvest of 2017, we were working hard to send them for a three week trip. The children got passports and began to plan what they were packing for their trip. They were so excited that their prayers were answered. A couple months before the trip, they found out that Lachlann’s dad had cancer. He wasn’t able to take care of his farm anymore, and so, within a month Lachlann and Shanna and their family were packed up and driving to Idaho to help his parents and support them during this difficult time. They still planned to go to Israel, but planned to fly out of Idaho and return there to continue helping them after their three week trip. A month before their trip, we were getting ready to buy tickets when they found out that Lachlann’s mom had just been diagnosed with cancer as well. At this point, they made the difficult decision to stay in Idaho to continue helping their parents. They were all disappointed, especially the children, who cried for days. They were able to stay in Idaho for over a year, blessing and working for Lachlann’s parents. While Lachlann’s mom is doing much better now, his dad continues to fight cancer, though his condition is stable.   We are now wanting to bless them with the six week trip. This, together with the slightly increased prices and their new little one, we need more money than we had originally saved up.   We would be so blessed if you are able to join with us in answering their prayers and blessing their faithfulness! We are so excited to have them finally join us in the Land of Israel!
