Send the Stone: A Gift of Strength from Ireland to Boston

We are a group based in Ireland working to share a powerful symbol of Irish heritage with the Irish American community in Boston — a traditional lifting stone used by David 'Indiana Stones' Keohan. David has spearheaded the revival and rediscovery of Irish lifting stones in the past 5 years.

On 18th May, we’re hosting a one-day public lifting event at Annestown Beach on the Copper Coast. This will be the only chance to lift the stone on Irish soil before it begins its journey across the Atlantic. This is a joint initiative between David 'Indiana Stones' Keohan, Dr. Conor Heffernan and Joshua Mackintosh of the No Fame Games in Boston

We are raising funds to cover the transport, shipping, and presentation of this unique gift — a gesture of solidarity, strength, and shared identity between Irish communities at home and abroad.
