Hello! The Sophomore Associated Student Body at John O’Connell High School, located in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco, is fundraising for a class trip to Great America. Our goal is to raise enough funds to cover charter bus transportation ($2000) to Mountain View and admission tickets for approximately 50 students.

There is some concern as to whether or not Great America is open. It will be open for this Spring 2026! The Winter event of 2025 was cancelled, and their future is uncertain for the season after 2027. The park is usually only open for Spring and Summer time; Winter events would also sometimes occur. If there are any changes, I am able to create an automatic refund, and I am able to provide proof our our trip and costs.

O'C is a historically underfunded public high school, and your help is much appreciated to support these children with fun and uplifting experiences .
