Send some love to Brielle and her family!

This beautiful, brave little girl is Brielle. She is fighting childhood cancer for the second time (like an absolute boss I might add!), but treatment is very much trial and error and expenses rack up so quickly. Just following Brie’s story for the past 2 years, it is so easy to see how incredible her family is. Brielle radiates joy and hope and her family fights for not only their little girl, but the countless other children fighting childhood cancer.
Our goal with this fundraiser is to lessen the Bird family’s financial burden and bring them some sunshine, and they hope to bless some families on similar journeys as well! You can follow along with Brie’s journey at https://www.facebook.com/share/HFqQgr8MXRADruTb/?mibextid=LQQJ4d or on Instagram at @briestrongerthancancer
Here is an overview of their story from Brielle’s mom Kendra: “We are the Bird family. Mitch and I have been married for 10 years, and we have 4 children. Brielle is our oldest. She is 8 years old and is a total girly girl. She loves everything Frozen/Elsa, pink, mermaids, unicorns, Barbies, and sparkly dresses! We used to live a very typical life, one of routine and comfort. But 4 years ago our entire world stopped in a tiny hospital room. We truly couldn’t believe that this was real life. Brielle was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a fast spreading cancer that starts in the nerve tissue. For Brielle, it developed in her abdomen; we found 1 large tumor and 2 small masses, and cancer taking over her bone marrow. We completed 6 rounds of chemo treatments, 2 bone marrow transplants, 12 rounds of radiation, 6 rounds of immunotherapy, and weeks of at home meds. We rang the bell after 2 years of treatment, and felt like we were finally “free”. Brielle was considered cancer free for 22 months, and unfortunately on January 17th, 2024, we found out that she had relapsed. Her cancer is back, and it has spread everywhere, including spots that were not there before. Relapse treatment is unfortunately unknown. It’s all a guessing game, the statistics aren’t great, but our God is. We are pleading for a big miracle, while we appreciate small moments!”
