We need your help to create change in our community and beyond. Three working class organizers in Salt Lake, Denise, Dodge and Alex, have been offered an opportunity to connect and exchange with anti-imperialist organizers and people’s movements from around the world. We’re asking for your support to participate in an educational international solidarity brigade.

The battles against racism, imperialism, and climate change are historic and can only be confronted by using the combined lessons of all working class and oppressed people. In Salt Lake City, we have witnessed firsthand the impacts of gentrification, low wages, and environmental degradation. We’ve seen the increased attacks on the democratic rights of women and all gender oppressed people. We know these issues intersect and disproportionately affect marginalized communities, including people of color, LGBT, and low-income families. Capitalism offers us no alternative to these mounting crises in contrast it offers us growing income inequality and social injustice.

By contributing to our campaign, you will be helping us gain new insights and strategies to confront imperialism in our community. Your support will allow us to connect with movement leaders from around the world and learn from organizers with decades of experience in the struggle. We believe that solidarity among oppressed peoples is essential to create a world where people and the planet are valued over profit.

Together, you can help us participate in a hands-on experience that will allow us to develop our skills in political education, mobilization, research, as well as the importance of art and culture in building social movements.
