Hi Guys,
As you all know I'm in my junior year at Berkeley. On campus it is compulsory to become actively involved in activities outside of academics, so I've taken a leadership role in the creative team in a Christian society called Cru. You can check them out here (www.cru.org). They do a lot here in the local community for students, the homeless, and those less fortunate.
As part of Berkley Cru I've been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a trip to Dublin this March with 17 other students and staff. On the trip I'll be helping the Irish team set up Cru societies on Irish Campus'.
I think the work Cru does in their communities is great, I have seen a lot of really close friends helped by their services, and would love to help them set up in Ireland.... I also want to use the opportunity to hang with my relatives and Nana. (I will become an expert on the Dublin Bus timetables).
To be able to take part and go to go Dublin I have to raise a participation fee of $2000 by March 10th. This money will go towards my room, board, and transportation. I would really, really appreciate your support in helping me raise it! Any donation big or small is hugely appreciated!
