Send me to TX&help asylum seekers
Donation protected
I have been accepted to provide volunteer legal services to asylum seekers being held in Texas. While there, I will receive a crash course preparing me for meeting with clients, and will then work 15 - 18 hours each day. Though I have enough paid leave time to make this commitment, I don't have the cash for travel, lodging, car rental, etc.
Truly, any amount helps. I set my initial target at $1,500 but because you've been so generous, I increased my goal to $2,000, and any amount I receive in excess of my actual expenses will be paid forward to another volunteer for CARA.
