Send RN Dawn Smith to the border migrant children

Hi Chris, I was reaching out to you to let you know I got my dates to volunteer at the border with the migrant children. I will be going Sept 19th-24th. I will be required to pay all of my own expenses out of pocket which I estimate will be between $1000 and $1500 for the week. If you know of any groups or sponsers to help with the cost I would be open for donations. I have never done anything of this magnitude in another country before. I will have to journey across the border into Tijuana as Trump has closed the centers on our side of the border to all medical personell It is somewhat worrisome but I will be with other Doctors and nurses many of whom are bilingual so I am just going to do my best. I appreciate any advice. Looking forward to helping in any way I can.
