Meet Remi, a brave freshman in high school who has faced challenges that would test anyone's courage, but whose spirit continues to shine as bright as the stage lights she loves so much. After being diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, she has undergone chemotherapy treatments that have left her immunocompromised. What makes Remi truly special is her incredible heart for others, despite everything she's going through, she's passionate about giving back to kids who have faced similar medical experiences, showing the kind of person she is who turns her own struggles into a source of strength for others. Every child deserves to experience pure magic, and for Remi, that magic lives at Disney World - after months of treatments and hospital visits, her wish is simple yet profound: to visit the most magical place on earth, where she can be surrounded by the characters, music, and wonder that have always brought her joy. We're Connor Schenk, Charlie Plate, and Saatvik Yamaala, three college students taking on this challenge as part of our BUSI 500 class project, but this is so much more than an assignment to us, it's our chance to make a real difference in Remi's life by raising $7,500 through creative products and services to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation specifically for Remi's Disney World wish. Remi represents the resilience and hope that exists even in the darkest moments, and by supporting her wish, we're not just sending her to Disney World, we're showing her that her community believes in her, supports her, and wants to see her dreams come true.
