Send Nicole to Ethiopia

I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my wonderful coworker, Nicole. Here's Nicole's story:

I’m blessed to be joining Dr. Hu, Dr. Weech, and Dr. Stevens on my first medical relief trip to Ethiopia from May 26-June 7th! Once a year, these physicians volunteer their time and skills to assist medical teams in Addis Ababa with complex spinal deformities that they are too inexperienced to tackle on their own. Without this collaboration, these patients would have to travel to neighboring countries for surgery or simply go without care, negatively affecting their quality of life. I’m both honored and thrilled to have been asked to join this team to support this community and remove the barriers to care that these patients face.

My flights and hotel are covered by the physician’s existing fundraising efforts; however, as a per diem employee, I do not receive paid time off. Your generous contributions will enable me to cover the financial burden of taking unpaid leave from work, allowing me to focus wholeheartedly on providing essential medical assistance to those who need it most.
