Send Mom Pelt to Hawaii

As some of you know, my mother Sheraine, known more broadly as "Mom Pelt", was recently diagnosed with cancer.

She was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma, and while the good news is her doctor is highly optimistic she will recover with treatment, the bad news is she will be undergoing chemotherapy for the next few months.

This is Mom Pelt's second health scare of the year. She's kind of been going through it with hip surgeries and now this. She is a fighter and always has been, but sometimes even fighters need to rest.

That's exactly what I am trying to give her by doing this. She won't tell us what her treatments are costing her, so as her daughter I'm getting creative. My older brother still lives on Oahu. The last time Mom Pelt went to Hawaii was in 2017 for his graduation ceremony from university. All she wanted to do on that trip was go and sit by the water for a while. Things got busy, especially with how family-oriented the event was, and she never got that chance. I am starting this campaign to crowd fund the relaxing, beachside trip of her dreams while she goes through her treatments.

I know my mom is tough, but right now I want to give her something bright to look forward to. I definitely don't anticipate her being able to get on a plane until mid-2026, but any bright spot on the horizon will likely keep her cheerful in the months ahead.
