Hi, I'm Deanna.

I moved away from my home province 10 years ago and haven't been able to get back to see my family since. My father is not doing well and I desperately want to go see him while I still can. Unfortunately, I am currently unemployed and on social assistance. I wouldn't be asking for help if I could at all manage this myself.

My dad and I have had a strained relationship, but I've always wanted to repair it. I fear that this may be my last chance.

The funds will be used to cover travel and accommodation costs to get me from Manitoba to BC and back, as well as provide support while I'm there for things like food and lodging.
