Send Matthew to Lambda Literary Writer's Retreat

Yesterday, I was accepted into the 2019 Writers Retreat for Emerging LGBTQ Voices in Los Angeles, CA! This Lambda Literary Writers Retreat  was established in 2007 and is the first of its kind ever offered to LGBTQ writers. I'll be participating in a weeklong immersion in poetry with one of my favorite writer's National Book Award nominee Danez Smith. Also a strong cohort of writers from across the world.  

This Retreat is a dope experience for me to hone my craft and continue to develop my book. While also making connections with publishing industry professionals and ridiculously good poets. 

 BUT! I need y'alls help to make this a reality of my summer. I am raising money for my Retreat tuition and also my round-trip flight to Los Angeles. Any coin, cent, dollar or you can toss my way I really really appreciate. Please!! (with a smile)
