As many of you know, youth development through Scouting and soccer has been a huge part of my life. As a Scout leader, assistant coach, and soccer dad, I've seen firsthand how these programs shape young people into confident, capable leaders. I am so thankful for how these programs have shaped my boys.
I'm launching this fundraiser to give a brand-new Cub Scout Pack an unforgettable experience: attending the Milwaukee Wave Scout Night game on March 29th! The Potawatomi Area Council just started a Pack at La Casa de Esperanza as part of the school's afterschool programming. La Casa is a Waukesha-based charter school focusing on dual-language students for the Waukesha School District.
Why This Matters:
These Scouts are just beginning their Scouting journey through their school's new Cub Scout Pack. Combining two of my passions—Scouting and soccer—this trip will:
- Give these brand-new Scouts an exciting first Pack outing
- Introduce them to professional soccer and athletic excellence
- Create lasting memories at the start of their Scouting adventure
- Show them what the Potawatomi Area Council's new program at La Casa de Esperanza can offer
- Strengthen their Pack community right from the beginning
How You Can Help:
Every donation helps fund tickets for a Scout and their parent to attend Scout Night on March 29th. When you contribute, please share which soccer club or youth organization you're supporting in the comments—we'll recognize all the communities that came together to make this happen!
Special shoutout to my soccer family: Field99 has already generously donated funds and will be providing Field99 shirts and signs at the game!
I'm hoping to see additional support from all of my friends at Wisconsin Futsal Factory Academy, Cream City Futsal, Mukwonago Area Soccer Club, and SC Wave Soccer Club. Let's show these young Scouts what the soccer community is all about!
Goal: $2,500
Thank you for helping me share the joy of Scouting and soccer with the next generation. Your support means the world to these boys starting their Scouting journey and to me personally.
Scout's Honor,
Matt
