Send Kandace to Black Feminist School!

Hello all!


I was recently accepted into the Decolonial Black Feminist School held in Cachoeira, Brazil this summer! The school will be led and coordinated by some of the most formative contributors to Black feminist theory Kimberle Crenshaw, Ochy Curiel, Angela Davis, Gina Dent and Angela Figueiredo. This is a huge opportunity to not only sharpen my skills and analysis in order to build stronger, transformative movements--it will also create an opportunity to build lasting relationships with Black feminist across the Global south. 

Currently, I am raising money to cover my tuition & housing costs which is due MARCH 15th!! As the dates approach, I will continue this fundraiser to support my airline and travel costs. 

I am asking my community who believe in me, who benefit from the work I do, and who carry a vision for our Black feminist future, to invest in this once in a lifetime opportunity. Please share my fundraising campaign and donate what is meaningful to you!
