Send Jess & Luke to Uganda

Luke and I have recently come across the incredible opportunity to support a school in Uganda, as a teacher (Jess) and continue their building works as a carpenter (Luke). The school is called Hope Christian College, located in Entebbe, Uganda. This organisation is known for its dedication to providing quality education to orphaned, abandoned, and underprivileged children, and we are eager to be a part of their mission. My role as a teacher would involve supporting educators in current teaching practices as well as joining the everyday life of the school. In addition to this, the opportunity has arisen to invite family with particular skills to join the trip and support the continuing construction and development of Hope Village. Luke is eager to use his skills towards the further development of Hope Christian College and its onsite boarding.

This school was founded by a past King’s Christian College teacher and King’s (Jess’ school) has offered to fund our accommodation while we are there. We are wholeheartedly committed to this opportunity and are reaching out to request your support to help us embark on this meaningful journey. Any contribution you can make towards our flights will be immensely appreciated. Your support will not only enable us to fulfil this mission but will also contribute to the growth, development, and safety of the students we will have the privilege of working with. Education is a cornerstone of empowerment, and we believe that by contributing our skills to this school, we can play a vital role in providing children with the tools to create long-term change in the community.
