Everyone knows Bruce!

Because you know Bruce, you know he’s a great guy. Unfortunately, he drew the unlucky odds (0.67%) of getting brain cancer. Thankfully, surgery to remove the initial tumors went well according to his doctors, and since then chemotherapy and a round of radiation have had good results. We’re keeping our fingers crossed.

In the meantime, I asked Bruce about some of the things on his bucket list. One of them is woodworking—he loves making lasting pieces for his family that they’ll always cherish.

Another big one is Florida State Football. If you’ve seen Bruce around the hangars, you’ve probably noticed his FSU lanyard. Growing up in Florida, Bruce has always been a loyal Seminoles fan, but he’s never had the chance to attend a game at Doak S. Campbell Stadium. Since moving west, he’s held onto that dream.

We don’t know what the future holds for Bruce’s health. What we do know is that he’s a great coworker, an even better friend, and truly part of the Duncan Aviation family. For that reason, I think we should help him check this dream off his list.

The idea is to surprise him with the funds for him and his wife to go to Tallahassee and see a game in person this fall. Let’s try to keep this under wraps until the big reveal—it’ll mean so much more as a surprise!
