Kicking Off the Journey: South Wales 3 Peaks Challenge. To launch their fundraising journey, a group of young people are taking on the South Wales 3 Peaks Challenge, climbing Blorenge, Skirrid, and Pen y Fan all in one day. It is a physically demanding challenge that requires teamwork, determination, and resilience.

This challenge marks the first step on a journey of fundraising. Not only does it raise vital funds, but it also builds confidence, strengthens friendships, and inspires a sense of pride and achievement.

What is the Street Child World Cup? The Street Child World Cup is a global movement that uses the power of football to change lives. It brings together teams of young people who have experienced inequality, hardship, or disadvantage, giving them a voice on the world stage. Held just before the FIFA World Cup, the Street Child tournament combines international football with art and powerful advocacy, highlighting the challenges young people face globally and fighting for their rights to education, safety, and protection.

Taking part in this project offers life changing opportunities, including:

• Building confidence and leadership skills

• Gaining international experience and cultural understanding

• Developing teamwork and resilience

• Promoting gender equality and empowerment through sport

• Creating lifelong memories and friendships
