Baba Baxter Jones was selected by Michigan Poor People's Campaign (PPC) as an impacted delegate, to go to Washington, DC, during the national PPC actions 13-14 May 2018.
Baba shared his special insight during the PPC, a national call for a moral revival, to overcome systemic racism, poverty, ecological devastation and the war economy. The PPC is re-igniting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s last major campaign before his assassination.

This POWER WHEELCHAIR was a game-changer for Baba and his caregivers over the DC weekend! We found an amazing gently used chair for a great price which we took on the trip:
As of May 28, we are still paying off the chair. If all of Baba's Advocates and Supporters pitch in, this will be a DEAL CHANGER for the Disability Justice movement. Any surplus funds will go towards Baba's other needs for reasonable accommodations and to benefit the Michigan PPC.
Please help and SPREAD THE WORD!
