We would use this funding to bring support and enrichment to the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities and their families. We want to organise sessions for the children to be able to socialise with each other. We also intend to offer separate sessions and support to children who have a sibling with special educational needs and disabilities. we have found there is a huge lack of this support in the area we live and feel this could be a huge benefit to these children's lives. knowing they are not alone and have other people in similar situations has been shown to really help.

What is our purpose and activities?

We run parent support groups for parents. Play sessions for the children. Sensory sessions for the children. We will organise days out for the children and some for the family too. We will also be offering support for siblings of children with special educational needs by offering them to come to the sessions and explain what their needs may be and offer them a safe place to explain their concerns/ worries and the ability to socialise and learn. To offer opportunities for learning and socialising for children unable to attend a school setting.
