Semester opportunity at ACG

My name is Jenna and I am so PROUD to share that I have been accepted into the University of Athens for the Fall 2024 semester with another opportunity for Spring. My family and friends have supported me with love, support and acceptance but for those who may not know me and would like to contribute . I am a 20 year old with a rare medical condition, that has presented many challenges in my life since my birth. My first surgery was at 3 months old and my 13th surgery was in 2021. My college experience is nothing like I imagined. My first year at SUNY Delhi was full of disappointment because the University could not accommodate my physical need. My internships at vet hospitals were cut short and I was even told to hang up my dreams by a Veterinarian I interned with and he took back a job opportunity I was offered. This crushed me but motivated me to apply to Mercy University and while everything in life presents challenges Mercy has an access and equity department that understands the individuality of each student requiring alittle more support. My 3.89 GPA has afforded me the opportunity to apply to the Study Abroad program and get accepted within days. They are offering me a once in a lifetime opportunity as many campuses are not accessible and may not meet my needs. I am in need of assistance because the grants and scholarships I recieved will not cover everything. I thank you for your consideration and generosity!!!
