<div>Dear Friends and Family of Sam ( Carlos) &amp; Kristan,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of you know that dear Sam has had a serious health crisis. On August 2, he began to feel numbness in his left leg and collapsed. He was brought to the local hospital, but was immediately airlifted to another hospital in Reading, Pa. for specialized care.
</div>
<div>There it was determined that Sam had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. In layman's terms, a serious brain bleed. He has been in I.C.U. , heavily sedated to keep his blood pressure down, and has just recently, over the last week, begun to be more awake and talking in short messages.
</div>
<div>To be on the side lines of loved ones who are in crisis, and not be able to really help is so difficult!❤️ Knowing that this will be a very long rehabilitation and recovery journey for Sam, there is something we can do to give them some peace of mind.
</div>
<div>Please join us in helping to give them some financial relief while Sam is not able to work and while Kristan is spending as much time as possible (while still holding down her jobs) at the hospital, encouraging and comforting him as he begins his long recovery journey.
</div>
<div>We have witnessed first hand the determination and strong work ethic of both Sam &amp; Kristan, and have also been on the receiving end of their generous spirits and willingness to help us always-
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any amount will help, and together we can do more!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Blessings, and with gratitude for you all-
</div>

Support Sam's Road to Recovery

<div>My name is Heather and I rescue dogs in Mexico. My entire life is spent helping street dogs who have no one else. It’s literally life or death for them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The dog in the photo is Lucia. She was slowly dying in a small village. Today she is getting all the love and care she never had.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lucia and 38 other dogs are living amazing lives at a sanctuary I built in rural Yucatan, Mexico.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These dogs all come from horrific situations, but we won’t talk about that. Instead I am focused on their future
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My rescue is struggling right now. Vet bills and food add up so fast.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So many times I tell myself to slow down. That I can’t afford one more dog. But then I see a confused dog abandoned on a highway or a walking skeleton in a small village.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Most times there is no one else coming to help. I know what will happen if I pass by.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My rescue has also sponsored over 4,500 spay &amp; neuters for homeless and low income pets. It is the only way to break the cycle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you love a dog, please consider donating. The street dogs of Mexico and I would be forever grateful.
</div>

Emergency help Mexican street dogs

<div>My name is Heather, and I rescue street dogs in Mexico.
</div>
<div>(Above photo from our most recent spay/neuter campaign)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last month I rescued a puppy named Lucy. She deserved a life of love and kindness. Instead she was homeless. We rushed her to the vet but it was too late
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I found her dying on the street. She was just weeks old and pure bones. People were walking past her like she didn't exist. I brought her home, but quickly realized she was too weak to eat or drink. We got back in the car and rushed to the vet. Then the seizures started. They were horrific. Each time I'd stop to hold her because she was flailing around and screaming. Imagining her going through this alone almost killed me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sadly, she didn't make it. We named her Lucy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I've tried so hard to make sense of this. Why would a baby be born to live and die on the street? I realize I'll never get an answer to that question, but I can stop it from happening to others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As Lucy left this world, I cried into her fur and promised her that I'd keep fighting for all those like her. For those with no voice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In Lucy's honor, we would like to spay and neuter 500 dogs (and cats) from the street. Her legacy will be preventing tens of thousands from being born into the same sad life. What a gift.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a big goal, but I know our supporters have huge hearts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On behalf of Lucy and all those who still struggle on the street, Thank you.
</div>

Help end homelessness for Mexican dogs

<div>Dan and Dale were on a walk in the neighborhood last week when Dale was attacked by another dog. He had a large gash on his stomach that required immediate attention. Dale’s injuries are extensive and although he is expected make a full recovery he has been experiencing some delays and has spent a considerable amount of time at the emergency vet with a long road to recovery ahead. Help Dan and Rachael feel supported and relieve some financial stress of this traumatic experience. All proceeds go directly to Dan for Dale’s bills and whatever he may need while recovering. Anything helps ♥️

Help Dale Heal: Support for Dan's Dog

My name is Jenna and I am so PROUD to share that I have been accepted into the University of Athens for the Fall 2024 semester with another opportunity for Spring. My family and friends have supported me with love, support and acceptance but for those who may not know me and would like to contribute . I am a 20 year old with a rare medical condition, that has presented many challenges in my life since my birth. My first surgery was at 3 months old and my 13th surgery was in 2021. My college experience is nothing like I imagined. My first year at SUNY Delhi was full of disappointment because the University could not accommodate my physical need. My internships at vet hospitals were cut short and I was even told to hang up my dreams by a Veterinarian I interned with and he took back a job opportunity I was offered. This crushed me but motivated me to apply to Mercy University and while everything in life presents challenges Mercy has an access and equity department that understands the individuality of each student requiring alittle more support. My 3.89 GPA has afforded me the opportunity to apply to the Study Abroad program and get accepted within days. They are offering me a once in a lifetime opportunity as many campuses are not accessible and may not meet my needs. I am in need of assistance because the grants and scholarships I recieved will not cover everything. I thank you for your consideration and generosity!!!

<div>Hi. I am Anubhav Sharma. I live in India and save street animals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am a Feeder and Rescuer of animals that need life-saving treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks to your donations, we have finally been able to purchase land for a permanent location, moving beyond years of a renting shelter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/74035627_1689557064786312_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I feed over 500 street dogs daily. And if I find an animal that needs to be taken care of, I take it to our shelter for care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser will help many thousands of homeless animals who live on highways and struggle to stay alive with hunger and illness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every second of their lives is spent in uncertainty about what will happen next.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To save them from accidents, I want to give them a permanent home where they can live happily.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Without fear, I want to see them sleeping peacefully in a place where I can save their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With this fundraising site, all the money goes into purchasing land, which will make a permanent home for homeless animals who live on highways.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will rescue all the dogs who live near the highway and give them a permanent home to live safely.

Donations to Help Hungry Dogs Living In India

<div>For less than one cent, you can get The Way to Happiness into someone’s hands!!!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is specifically to send Arabic digital copies of the Way to Happiness into the Middle East to help spread hope and calm, and reduce crime and violence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our team has stats of getting people to download a digital copy of the Way to Happiness through a paid advertisement campaign on Facebook, which is able to target users in specific locations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While there are additional campaigns for Hebrew and Russian speaking people, the test campaign we’re doing at the moment is the Arabic translation of the booklet targeting the most heated areas and areas with potential to escalate as first priority. Some of these areas cannot be accessed with physical booklets even if we had the manpower, as it is either too dangerous or too remote.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds get distributed DIRECTLY to this campaign.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>—————
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Honesty, decency and a sense of self-respect have been perverted from a multitude of sources through to peer pressure, and associations with ill-intentioned people who seek to make their living by destructive means, violence and degradation. We can help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I leave you with the foreword from the book:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>.,/@\,..,/@\,..,/@\,..,/@\,..,/@\,..,/@\,.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>True joy and happiness are valuable. If one does not survive, no joy and no happiness are obtainable. Trying to survive in a chaotic, dishonest and generally immoral society is difficult.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any individual or group seeks to obtain from life what pleasure and freedom from pain that they can. Your own survival can be threatened by the bad actions of others around you. Your own happiness can be turned to tragedy and sorrow by the dishonesty and misconduct of others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Undoubtably you can think of instances of this actually happening. Such wrongs reduce one’s survival and impair one’s happiness. You are important to other people. You are listened to. You can influence others. The happiness or unhappiness of others you could name is important to you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Without too much trouble, using this book, you can help them survive and lead happier lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While no one can guarantee that anyone else can be happy, their chances of survival and happiness can be improved. And with theirs, yours will be. It is in your power to point the way to a less dangerous and happier life.
