Hello, my name is Reece. Our new born son Mason is very sick. He has PPHN, Sepsis, liver failure and a perforated intestine. He had been in NICU at Bristol Southmead hospital since Saturday 17th August. He remains in a critical condition and we are waiting to see if he gets any better to be able to transport to Birmingham hospital for specialist liver care and surgery on the perforation. As I am a self employed bricklayer there’s no grants I can receive to help pay for our rent and other monthly bills. Whilst still trying to provide for our other son at home. As a result I’m going to have to leave Mason in NICU while I go back to Cornwall to work to provide for our family. The funds will be used so I can take the time off work to be with Mason in hospital and not need to worry about not being able to cover rents and other household bills as well as travel and expenses.
