Selahlita Path to Recovery and Family Support

Hello Family & Friends,

I wanted to start this funding to help my sister and brother in-law (Jessica & Moses) raise money for any necessities, travel, meals, medical, hotel etc..

As many of you are aware, Selah was admitted to children's hospital unexpectedly, on 12/31 and discovered that she had a brain tumor and cyst. On 1/1 she underwent an 8hr long surgery. Selah is a strong little cookie but still has a long road of recovery ahead. My sister will be out of work for some time to care for her and my brother in-law will have to drive back and forth and care for their son and you can only image the financial burden they will endure until Selah fully recovers.

I know we all want to help anyway we can to relieve some of the stress they are going through right now. If anyone knows Jessica & Moses personally you know that they always help anyone in need with no questions asked and, I feel its only fare we do the same or more for them now when they need it the most.

We ask that you please continue to pray for Selah, Jessica, Moses and Simeon.

With the uncertainty of what lies ahead If you would like to contribute any amount will make a difference and bring hope and some relief during this time.

Update on Selah condition: 1/9

Posterior Fossa Syndrome is what Selah is dealing with. Tumor was pushing into brainstem and putting a great amount of pressure on part of brain responsible for basic functions like coordination, swallowing. This condition can also cause mutism and low muscle tone. We will start a medication tomorrow (1/10/25) that can help speed up progress. So if we can be intentional about praying that this medication works for her we’d appreciate it. Again it’ll be a process so pray for stillness in our hearts and minds.
