The Nassy family is raising money for a Sefer Torah in memory and honor of their late husband, brother, father, and grandfather, Aharon ben Yitzchak.

Aharon was an extraordinary individual that touched the hearts of everyone he met. He loved meeting new people and also cherished long conversations with old friends. He was selfless and caring; always putting his family and community before himself in every situation. He brought light to countless people through his vibrant personality and his unforgettable smile. His energy and enthusiasm for life and Judaism was evident in his every day practice of torah and mitzvot, leaving a tremendous imprint on his family, community, and beyond.

Unfortunately, two years ago, Aharon was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer; Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer. Although he had a challenging diagnosis, Aharon looked to his faith in G-d that gave him strength to overcome multiple obstacles along the way.  

Aharon leaves behind his wife, two brothers, five sons, three daughter-in-laws, and six adorable grandchildren. Aharon has been a long time member of the Jewish community in Los Angeles, California.

The Nassy family welcomes you to join in on this great mitzvah and tremendous Zchus. They appreciate any donation that you are able to contribute to this Sefer Torah in memory of their beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather. 

The Hachnasot Sefer Torah will take place on his first Yartzeit (Date of passing) the 10th of Adar - March 17th 2019 at Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad.
