Seething Wells Action Group

Seething Wells Action Group (SWAG) is a constituted group of local residents concerned about the state of the historic Seething Wells Filter Beds in Surbiton.

A recent survey of local residents indicated that the majority want to see the site retained as a nature reserve. Our vision is to formulate a viable plan for the site that enables public access and protects, enhances and celebrates the biodiversity and heritage value of the site.

In the wake of recent planning applications on the site, the time has now come to raise funds. These funds will be used for commissioning our own professional planning and legal advice, on publicity and most importantly on formulating a coherent plan for the site, backed by the community.

In the event of funds not being needed they will be donated to local wildlife and environmental charities.

If you would like to get involved, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Thank you.
