See-Me: Help Launch a Charity for SEND routes to Employment
Donation protected
We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to find purpose through meaningful employment — no matter their ability or background. But for many individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), the pathway into work is still full of unnecessary barriers and outdated perceptions.
That’s why we’re building See-Me — a new charity focused on empowering people with SEND to access employment, gain independence, and be recognised for their strengths.
This is the start of something real — and we need your support to get off the ground.
How Your Donation Will Help:
Your donation will help us lay the foundations of See Me. Every pound raised will go directly toward building a charity designed to create real-world impact for SEND individuals.
Here’s how your support will be used:
CIO Registration Fees
Legal and admin costs to register See Me as a fully recognised charity.
Website and Branding
Building an accessible, inclusive digital presence to attract jobseekers, parents, schools and employers.
Outreach & Research
Engaging directly with SEND students, families and schools to co-design our services around real challenges.
Early Mentoring & Pilot Support
Designing our first mentoring sessions and producing downloadable toolkits for SEND jobseekers and inclusive employers.
Fundraising & Grant Access
Creating the infrastructure and materials to unlock further income via trusts, corporate partners and foundations.
Our initial goal of £5,000 will help us move from idea to registered, operational charity within the year.
Why This Matters?
People with SEND are some of the most underrepresented in the workplace — but they also bring creativity, commitment, and huge potential. Too often, the problem isn’t ability. It’s opportunity.
See-Me exists to change that — by working with schools, parents, employers and local communities to break down barriers and build bridges into work.
We’re asking for your help to launch See Me.
By donating today, you’re not just funding a startup charity — you’re helping change lives. You’re backing a belief that everyone deserves the chance to be seen, valued, and given a future to thrive.
If you can give, we’d be incredibly grateful. If you can’t, sharing this campaign helps us reach the next supporter.
Together, we can build a world where more people are seen for what they can do — not held back by what they’ve been told they can’t.
Let’s show the world it’s time to See Me!
