I am Israa, a little girl from Gaza. I am young, but my heart has grown heavy from all the pain and fear.
I live with my mother and younger siblings, trying to survive amid the war and bombings. We lost our uncles and relatives, and our homes have turned into rubble. Every day we hear the sound of airplanes, and we fear that this day might be our last.
My mother tries to protect us. She holds us close when the bombs fall and silently cries when there’s no food to eat. We are just children… we want to play, to laugh, to sleep without trembling in fear.
We have been displaced many times, moving from one place to another, carrying a few clothes and a lot of tears. When we returned to our home, there was nothing left—no bed, no toys, only dust and broken stones.
The war has returned, harsher and more painful, and the siege has made everything expensive and hard to find. No food, no water, no medicine—sometimes, not even a piece of bread.
Please, help us. We don’t ask for much—just to live in peace.
Your donation could save our lives… it could give us a little hope.
