Seeds of love for my dad

After 25 years apart, I recently reunited with my dad in Durango, Mexico. I thank God I finally got to see him again, but what I found broke my heart.

He lives alone in very poor conditions. His home is more like a shack, and he doesn’t have a real bathroom. He struggles to walk and survives by selling sunflower seeds at the Plaza, and it takes him 2 hours to walk there and 2 more hours to get home. It hurts me to say this, but no one—especially not someone his age—should have to live like that.

I don’t have all the resources on my own, but I have love, and I have hope. I’m asking for help to give him a decent, safe place to live and access to his basic necessities. Anything you give will go directly to him. Even just sharing this helps more than you know!
