Dear reader,

I want to take a moment to share a dream. A dream to spread loving kindness to women who need it most.

I’ve lost count of the women around me who have either become single moms or lost all hope to addiction. It is all too easy to judge a person without taking a moment to consider what events happened that they would find themselves in this situation. I have yet to meet a woman who says “I want to be a single mom” or “I want to be an addict when I grow up.” What I do know is that if I didn’t have the best support system, and Jesus, in my corner I would not have walked out of the hardest time in my life with my so heart full.

I recognize not everyone has the support system I have in their lives. Your community makes all the difference when the hard seasons hit.

When I entered single motherhood without a dime to my name, I was blessed greatly by my hairstylist whom I now call the favor of the Lord. Her kindness and Gods goodness would inspire a nonprofit hair salon.

A hair salon where single moms and women in rehab can come to receive beauty treatments completely free of charge. This salon will be a faith based space that embraces women from all backgrounds and walks of life. We do not care, we want you here.

I dare to dream of a place in which those who are lacking in community can come to find hope for a better tomorrow. Not just for themselves but for their families as well. Sometimes that simply starts with allowing someone else to care for your beauty when you cannot even care for yourself.

In order to bring this vision to life (and ensure future donations are tax deductible) I am currently raising $2,000 to cover:

Filing fees and administrative expenses to establish a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. as well as outreach and marketing to raise awareness within the community

I humbly ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this ministry through a monetary donation. Whether $5 or $500 each gift will help build a place of restoration and hope.

Your prayers and support are invaluable. Together, we can create a space where women not only receive beauty treatments but also experience the selfless love and kindness from another woman.

To the single moms and women in recovery— I see you and the people working on this project see you as well. We love you. We are praying for you. We cannot wait to bless you. Don’t give up.
