My name is Christian. I run My Brother's Pack. I'm putting this together for my friend Jason. Most of you know him as plasticsporkk (or Sporky).

He was one of my very first followers. Before this channel even had 100 followers , he was in the comments, every video, same three words.

"See ya tomorrow."

Sounds small. It wasn't. There were nights when it felt impossible to keep telling my story, and his words genuinely kept me going. I'm not sure I'd still be doing this without him. I didn't know him before this channel, but he drove from Texas to Colorado to be with me on my brother's first birthday since he passed. That's a testament to who he is.

A little while back he finally told me what he's actually been going through. He didn't want to. He told me he didn't want to be a distraction, and that he felt like other people deserve help more than he does. He deserves our help. He needs it.

What's going on

Sporky has sarcoma. Started in 2022 as something small on his temple. He hid it under a hat for over a year telling himself it was nothing. Went from the size of a pea to a quarter before he had it looked at.

A couple years later another one showed up on the other side of his head. Grew fast, got painful, right as he lost his job to a separate injury. No money for treatment. He worked for months to scrape enough together, finally got it removed, started feeling like himself again.

Then right before a cars show in Denver, a third one showed up. No insurance. Couldn't find a doctor who'd touch it. He borrowed money to get it done, sold off his collection, and had it cut out a few days ago. Now he's waiting again. Pathology results, and trying to find someone who can actually explain what's next.

Sarcoma is treatable. That's the part that gets me. It's not hopeless, he just doesn't have what he needs to get through it.

It's not only the medical stuff either. He used to cook in a kitchen and got badly burned with boiling sauce. Lost that job during COVID while he was still healing, right around when his son was born. He held his son for the first time with his arm still raw. His son later had a bad reaction to the bandages on it, he's fine now, just has some scars of his own.

On top of all that the only vehicle his family has is a hand me down that keeps breaking. Jason's the one who normally fixes stuff like that himself and he still can't keep up with the cost of parts. He's sold cards and sealed product from his own collection more than once just to stay afloat. Same hobby that's how he found this whole community in the first place.

He didn't want me to post any of this. Told his wife and mom specifically not to say anything to me. I found out anyway. I'm doing this because that's what you do for someone who's spent years quietly showing up for everyone else.
