Security Funds

We are a sanctuary encampment in Minneapolis for women and non-binary people who are unsheltered and suffering from Minneapolis’ immense housing crisis. We are fully run by volunteers who have been doing 24 hour security shifts since the beginning of July. We are seeking funding to pay a security team to do our night shifts on a consistent and fully funded  basis. 

Our encampment is filled with incredible women. They are kind and genuine. They have full and complex lives just like any sheltered person. Because of our love for them and the relationships we’ve built, our volunteers are going above and beyond. We have had people do a 12 hour shift out of the kindness of their heart and their desire to make sure our women are protected. We hired this security team and they deserve to get paid for their work and time. Please donate so our volunteer team can get a break, a full nights sleep, and our new security can get paid what they deserve.
