Our family is heartbroken to share the tragic passing of Burim Havolli, a devoted husband, loving father, and deeply respected member of our community. Burim died after sustaining severe injuries from a violent attack, an incident widely covered in the news.
Burim leaves behind his wife, Jehona, and their three young children:
• Joni (8)
• Urata (5)
• Kron (2)
Their world changed in an instant. They have lost their protector, their provider, and the person who held their family together.
This GoFundMe has been created by Burim’s brother, Blerim Havolli, with full permission and involvement from the family. Although funeral costs have been fully covered, the family is now facing an entirely new and overwhelming reality, and our focus is to ensure that these three young children and their mother are taken care of long-term.
Where Your Support Will Go
All donations will be dedicated directly to the well-being, stability, and future of Burim’s wife and children, including:
• Monthly living expenses for the family
• Rent and utilities so the children do not need to relocate during trauma
• Groceries, clothing, diapers, and essentials
• Childcare support for Jehona as she adjusts to life as a single mother
• School supplies, extracurricular activities, and emotional support for Joni and Urata
• Future needs for baby Kron as he grows
• A savings fund dedicated to the children’s long-term well-being
This fundraiser is about helping Jehona keep her home stable, ensuring the children are cared for, and giving them a chance at a future built with dignity despite this tragedy.
Burim was the kind of man you don’t meet twice in a lifetime. He had one of the biggest hearts you could ever imagine — the type of heart that made room for everyone, whether you were family, a friend, a neighbor, or simply someone who crossed his path. He lived with a quiet strength and a deep sense of responsibility, always putting others before himself.
What defined Burim more than anything was his instinct to protect. He protected his family fiercely, not out of obligation, but out of pure love. To his wife, Jehona, he was her rock. To his children, he was their safe place — their father, their comfort, their superhero. He made sure his kids grew up feeling loved, secure, and seen every single day.
But his protection didn’t stop at his own home. Burim cared for the people around him in a way that was rare. He looked after the tenants in his building as if they were extended family — making sure they were safe, helping them when they needed something, and stepping in whenever someone felt scared or alone. He didn’t just live in a community — he was the heart of it.
Burim had a warmth that made people feel safe. He carried himself with kindness and humility, never looking for attention or praise. Everything he did came from the goodness inside him — a goodness so genuine that people still can’t accept he’s gone.
His love was steady. His presence was calming. His laugh could light up a room. And his loyalty was unshakeable.
Losing a man like Burim is not just losing a husband or father — it is losing a protector, a provider, and a soul with a rare goodness. It is losing the person his children looked for first in the morning and last at night. It is losing the man who made life feel safe.
His absence is not just felt —
It is felt in every corner of their home, in every routine now broken, in three little hearts who can’t understand why their father isn’t coming back.
And it is felt by an entire building full of people who slept better at night knowing Burim was there.
