Secure Burke Hair Lounge and enhance safety!

Dear friends, neighbors, and supporters,

Since COVID, it’s been one thing after another — break-ins, broken windows, theft, struggles with the city, and ongoing challenges with homelessness and safety in our area. Professionally and personally, it’s been a tough road. But through it all, we’ve stayed focused on one thing: building something strong, meaningful, and lasting for this community.

That’s why I took on the back units behind the salon — to expand and grow Burke Bridal, an extension of Burke Hair Lounge. But to move forward safely and sustainably, we need to make some serious changes to the space.

We’re launching this GoFundMe to raise $15,000 to help cover the cost of:

• Replacing our broken front door and window

• Installing security bars inside the windows

• Building a secure fence and gate system around our patio

We’ve done what we can on our own, but at this point, we need our community to rally around us. Your support will help us create a safer, more secure space for our clients, our team, and everyone we serve.
