Help a Single Mother end the Cycle of Narcisstic Abuse Once and For All

As many of you know in 2021, my kid's father left me for my best friend and put the majority of the responsibilty of our two kids on me. These past three years have been really sad, transformative, and healing. I'm at a turning point in the coparenting relationship I have with my kid's father, many of you did not know that he suffers from mental health issues, addiction, and abusive tendancies. For the past three years the narcisstic and financial abuse has not stopped. Recently, it escalated to the point that now have a protective restraining order against him, and he has no rights to see his children until we navigate the situation in court. I am raising money to assist in the following expenses that will help me and my kids thrive in 2025. I am potentially a full time single mom until Novemeber of 2026, and need to make a solid plan, so I am asking for your help.

1) legal fees and lawyer costs to ensure proper custody and child support be ordered in a timely manner

2) child-care costs that will need to be covered as I prepare to start my new job, as well as a Psychology Doctorate Program in the fall of 2025

3) basic needs and clothing costs as we cannot gain access to the majority of their belongings are not accessible due to the restraining order

4) emergency funding for food, security system updates, and other basic needs that will make our situation safer and easier to navigate

The truth is, I didn't take action and come out about the abuse and addiction because I was afraid of being shamed, blamed, and judged. Narcissists are so charming and manipulative, they get not only others, but you, to believe that you are delusional and thier actions and behavior are normal and healthy. I also feared any retaliation he would have taken, but through going to therapy in the last 18 months, and deligently working to heal myself, and my kids, lives, I have found the courage to stand up. I'm asking for help from my community as a single mother of two amazing children. Your donations are going to ensure thier safety and comfort thorugh a big life change. It also means that I can focus on them fully without having to overextend. If you know me, or even if you don't, I am someone who helps people even when I am down. It has taken everything in me to just ask for support, out of needing it, without offering something in return. I have had to admit to myself that I am in a place of needing to heal myself deeply, and I do not have the normal amount of giving in me as I used to.
