The Aashray Care Home was established in 2006 by the Positive Women Network of Rajasthan. Harassment and stigma issues necessitated starting a care home for children affected by HIV and AIDS. Children living with HIV are in an extremely vulnerable situation because they are usually single or double orphans. Because of lack of knowledge sometimes both the parents are affected and financially not capable to take care of infected child. Aashray take care of children of such families.
Currently, our shelter home operates in a rented house in Nirman Nagar. Unfortunately, the landlord passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic, and his wife is now eager to sell the property for personal financial reasons. However, out of concern and social responsibility, the landlady has offered Aashray Care Home the opportunity to purchase the property at a price lower than the current market rate. We are seeking funding to secure this permanent home. The need to acquire a permanent facility is urgent and critical to ensure the continuity and stability of the essential services provided to the girls under Aashray Care Home’s protection.
