We are the Roque García family from El Salvador. After nearly ten years of marriage and many medical treatments, my wife and I welcomed our miracle—a beautiful baby girl. She’s our greatest joy, but life has gotten harder since her arrival. My wife stays home to care for our daughter, so we’re down to my income from two jobs. We live in a simple home of sheet metal and wood on a small plot of land, paying $150 a month toward a $9,000 bank mortgage. We also owe $5,000 in debts from loans we took to cover food, baby needs, and past mortgage payments, which keep growing with interest.
These debts weigh heavily on us. We feel sad and overwhelmed, but our faith in God keeps us hopeful. If we can pay off the $5,000 in loans and keep up with the mortgage, my earnings could go toward milk, diapers, and food for our little girl. Over time, we dream of building a better home for her. Any help, no matter how small, would ease our burden and give us a chance to start fresh, both financially and emotionally.
I’m Nathan, raising funds in the US to support my friends, the Roque García family whom I met while living there for a year during a church mission. I’ll transfer every dollar directly to them to help with their debts and essentials. Your kindness means the world to this family. Thank you!
