Aleh’s 60th birthday is coming up at the end of March, and it feels like a really good moment to come together as a community and celebrate him.

For many of us, Aleh has been a huge part of our musical lives. His rhythm, presence, joy, and the way he shares music have brought people together again and again. When he plays and sings, something opens, and we all feel it. He gives so much through his music, and it feels right to mark this moment in his journey with a collective gift.

Over the years, Aleh has often spoken about how much he would love a beautiful new guitar. An instrument that feels alive acoustically and also works well for live performances. Something that can support him in this next chapter of writing, recording, and sharing music. He has mentioned that his dream guitar is an Amalio Burguet, from Spain.

The idea is to surprise him with this guitar for his 60th birthday. Part of the fund will be kept flexible so Aleh can make final decisions around setup or pickups himself, choosing exactly what feels right to him.

If he wishes, Aleh may also choose to use a small part of this gift towards family matters he is currently going through, as his mother has been facing health challenges.

If you feel moved to be part of this little act of love, any gift, big or small, becomes part of that shared gesture of gratitude and appreciation for Aleh.

And importantly, please don’t tell Aleh or share this on social media where he might see it. Let’s keep it a surprise for his birthday! We'll put all the names of those who have contributed in a big card and give it to him on the day.

Salve Galera!

No dia 22 de março celebramos o aniversário de 60 anos do nosso amado Aleh, e sentimos que este é um momento muito muito especial nos reunirmos como comunidade e celebrar a sua vida.

Para muitos de nós, Aleh tem sido uma presença enorme em nossas vidas musicais e culturais. Seu ritmo, sua presença, sua alegria, seu amor à arte e forma como compartilha a música em comunidade. Quando ele toca e canta, algo se abre, sua energia é única e todos sentimos e vibramos com isso. Ele dedicou sua vida para a música e como todos nós sabemos, é um caminho difícil, com muita luta! Por isso adoraríamos marcar este novo ciclo de sua caminhada com um presente coletivo.

Ao longo dos anos, Aleh comentou muitas vezes sobre o desejo de ter um violão realmente bom, onde ele consiga expandir sua arte. Um instrumento que soe vivo no acústico e que também funcione bem em apresentações ao vivo. Algo que possa acompanhá-lo neste próximo capítulo de composição, gravação e compartilhamento da música. O modelo de violão dos sonhos, que ele mencionou, é o Amalio Burguet, da Espanha.

A ideia é surpreendê-lo com esse violão no dia do seu aniversário de 60 anos. Parte do valor ficará flexível para que o próprio Aleh possa decidir sobre ajustes, captação ou configuração, escolhendo exatamente o que fizer mais sentido para ele.

Se ele desejar, Aleh também poderá usar uma pequena parte desse presente coletivo para questões familiares que ele está passando neste momento da sua vida, pois sua mãe está com problemas de saúde.

Se sentires de contribuir com essa vaquinha do amor, qualquer valor é bem-vindo. Essa colaboração e suporte será parte deste grande gesto de agradecimento e apreciação ao nosso querido Aleh.
