Please Help Find Daniel!
Geologist Daniel Robinson was last seen the morning of June 23, 2021, leaving his worksite in the desert of Buckeye, AZ. He was driving his 2017 blue/grey Jeep Renegade and is believed to have headed west into desert terrain. After graduating college in 2019, Daniel landed a career as a field geologist and moved to Phoenix, AZ. He oversees many sites located in remote desert locations, often working in extreme conditions and traveling long distances to work on projects.
Daniel has an innate passion for adventure and is known to travel inopportune moments. However, he always communicates with friends and family about his travel plans. It has been eight weeks with no leads or evidence towards Daniel's disappearance. Initially, a missing person report has been filed that same evening on the day he was last seen and we have utilized all avenues that law enforcement could contribute. Daniel's Jeep Renegade was discovered by a rancher in a remote part of the desert not too far from the well site where Daniel was last seen. Though the vehicle has now been recovered, Daniel remains missing.
My name is David Robinson II, Daniel's father, and I traveled from South Carolina to be in the frontline of all efforts to locate my son. Like any father, I attend on staying indefinitely until we have answers and bring Daniel home safely.
The current investigation by law enforcement is not progressing and we are raising money to fund other resources and present initiatives to locate Daniel. Every dollar will be used to cover expenses for:
- Private investigator
- Printing of missing flyers
- Desert search and rescue team ( this is highly important to collect supplies and ensure the safety of volunteers in the desert heat)
- Hotel expenses ( I am currently covering hotel costs to stay in AZ as long as possible)
- Any other resources and expenses to continue the search. (ex. helicopter aerial search; drone; etc.)
A couple of news networks have reported the story but we are continuously trying to spread the word. Our hope is that if anyone knows any information or has seen Daniel please contact the Buckeye Police Department from the missing report flyer above.
