Hi, thank you for taking the time to visit this page. My name is Sebastian Bernhard, and I am a Life Scout of Scouts BSA Troop 15 located in Stamford, Connecticut. Part of Scouting is earning your Eagle Scout Rank (Only 6% of Scouts reach this rank!) is the Eagle Scout Project, which I am working on.
My project will consist of creating a beautiful habitat for the Stamford Agriscience Program's turtles to live in. The Stamford Agriscience Program is an extension to Westhill High School, a public high school in Stamford, CT. This program educates 150+ students in numerous urban and rural agriscience fields. This project will be a great educational aid to allow a much more excellent hands-on experience with the turtles in an outdoor setting and help expose more students and visitors to the Agriscience Program. This habitat will also greatly benefit the program's turtles, giving them a much more natural area to roam and live healthier.
This project will be challenging as it will consist of constructing a fence, digging and creating a pond, and landscaping the area, as well as through the leadership I will have to show during the building process. This project will come at a cost too great for me to afford out of pocket. With your generous donation, I will be able to finance the purchase of all of the lumber, plants, and other materials needed to complete this turtle habitat. If contributions exceed project costs, they will be donated back to the Agriscience program. Any amount donated would be sincerely appreciated and gladly accepted!
Thank you in advance for your support!!
