Hello everyone,

As many of you know, Kat Hansen and I have been doing Water rescue for 4 years now.

Covering paddle sports racing events, swims/triathlons, and as needed local nonemergency rescue and recovery efforts with our Seastrike RWC- rescue watercraft.

What we are looking to do. Is to set up a 2nd Seastrike/RWC that Kat would be operating,

this doubles our coverage ability at the events with a purpose-built machine, and an

experienced operator team. As one is good two are great!

As many of you are familiar with our current Seastrike, some may not be. A Seastrike is a

Seadoo 3 person PWC, that is then set up with the Seastrike Kit. And a Rescue board.

The Seastrike kit gives the PWC unmatched stability in rough waters, and the ability to pull

swimmers, paddlers up and over the sides. We can even lay an injured person on the tube if

it is needed. This Kit also allows up to 6 people pending conditions, onto the Seastrike and

stay afloat with the ability to motor them to safety of land, or transfer to a larger boat.

The rescue boards increase our capabilities to rapidly rescue swimmers and recovering

paddle craft.

Other additions may come in time, to match the capabilities of our current Seastrike, like

forward and rear lights for nighttime searches and safety. To the GPS and side scan sonar.

We will also be hosting an in-person fundraiser. The details here are still in the works. Time,

and place TBD

Any funds over the goal and getting the 2nd Seastrike setup would be used strictly for further

training, event coverage, and setting up a larger trailer to haul both at the same time.
