Sean's sober marathon. Cheers to abstinence!
Hi everybody
I'm fundraising for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, and every donation, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you so much for supporting this cause that is incredibly important to me.
Lung cancer is not a "smoker's disease" my son in law was diagnosed in his 30's and had never smoked.Roy Castle had never smoked. Yet this misconception means that funding isn't as popular as other cancers. You will have seen how breast cancer funding has made a huge difference to survival rates. Let's give lung cancer patients the same chance.
More about the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation:
- This is the only UK charity fully committed to conquering lung cancer.
- Through your contributions, we can fund essential research to improve patient outcomes and survival rates.
- Additionally, we provide support to lung cancer patients and their families.
My first challenge :-
I've committed to abstaining from alcohol until Friday, 28 February, which is a bit over six weeks. This includes celebrating my birthday alcohol-free!
Your generosity means the world to me. Thank you for your support.
Cheers! Or maybe no cheers!
