Hello Everyone. My name is Seán Walsh. I am a member of Boy Scout troop 2055 from Blauvelt, New York. I have been in Boy Scouts since first grade. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout Project with the hope to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. My Eagle project is to refurbish an area at my local church, Saint Catharine of Alexandria Church in Blauvelt, New York. This is an area that parishioners pass on their way into church. I am going to clean the garden, remove the debris, replace or repair stone tiles as well as the pedestal of Mary’s statue. I will be power washing the brick walls. I will be planting shrubs and flowers in the garden and around the giant AC unit to conseal it. I will be placing mulch around the area. The estimated cost of my project is $5,000. Any monies raised above my goal or not used will be donated directly to the church. I am respectfully asking for donations to help fund my project. Any amount is very much appreciated.
