Hello, my name is Joshua Sean and I am asking help to raise funds for legal help to finalize all things involving my custody and divorce court.

I had a friend who generously offered to help me get a lawyer for what I was having to go through because they truly believed that I needed to be backed up properly to stay in my sons life, and have a smooth separation -and divorce with my sons mother.

they agreed to pay the retainer. Which was 5000$

the lawyers failed to communicate that we had gone over said retainer. Over by 1800$ and that I would need to pay it by October 7th.

also that if I didn’t pay it in full that they wouldn’t be able to move forward with my case.

they also estimated an additional 2000$ to continue so we can finalize my divorce.

I tried to explain I never agreed to pay any money to them and they unfortunately on the sly had me sign a form that stated whatever money is over the retainer I would definitely have to pay it. ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT. lol

luckily through having these lawyers we’ve managed to guide the mother of my child to move up to wa from ca so that we can have a proper life up here. Like we always wanted. Just now separate.

we've also managed to have 50/50 custody as opposed to only being able to see my son 3 hours at a time with supervised visits.

you could imagine how hard that was.
