We have exciting news! We are adopting!
Adoption was one of David and I's first conversations when we started dating. We both had a deep desire to have kids and knew that adoption would somehow be part of our story.
Over the past two years, we have lost four precious babies to miscarriage. Our journey has been filled with a lot of grief and heartache. While adoption has always been in David and I's plan, our miscarriages have been stepping stones toward choosing to pursue adoption now, rather than later.
Right now, David is in the middle of his medical training, and we do not have enough funds to afford adoption. We have already saved enough money to pay for and complete our initial application and home study. As we start working with our consultant (Cradled in Grace) during the matching process, we are asking for your financial support to help us bring home a precious baby.
We STRONGLY believe in community and know that it takes a village to raise a family. We can't wait to tell our future baby about the many ways our community came together to support him/her.
We know that COVID is a less than ideal time to be asking for financial support, since many people are struggling or out of work. We are deeply grateful for whatever you feel comfortable donating.
Much love!
