Hi, my name is Brittany Fuller and I grew up here in Scripps Ranch—from Children’s World to Jerabek Elementary, then Marshall Middle and SRHS. Only after I turned 30 years old did I feel safe enough to be myself here in this community.
As many of you know the Pride flags on my fence were stolen for the third time. I was able to catch the people on camera and I’m working with SDPD because this IS a hate crime. When they go low, we go higher, bigger, brighter and better!
An amazing LA artist will be traveling down on Monday to begin her masterpiece that will be dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community. She is kindly donating her time for this exciting project! I would however like to provide her with reimbursement for all her supplies as well as gas money and maybe a few nice meals!

It’s extraordinary that this fundraiser for the Pride Fence blossomed into the formation of a community council group that transformed into an entire movement! Without your generous donations it never would have been possible, so I thank you from the depths of my soul.
Money collected beyond the fence funding/reserves has been put towards this massive and exciting movement for LOVE here in the Ranch and beyond!
The Scripps Ranch Pride Council is now a permanent part of the Scripps community! ️️⚧️♥️
The SRPC will be a vocal and persistent advocate for our LGBTQIA+ neighbors, in particularly within the local schools.
One of our top priorities in implementing the GLSEN inclusive curriculum for all school staff! We must start with those whose job requires they keep children safe. We must educate them and give them the tools to protect our kiddos. Educators play key roles in creating affirming learning environments for LGBTQ youth, and this is what all humans deserve.
