Scott’s Legacy of Love & Giving

My sweet boy, Preston “Scott” Mihaly recently passed away at age 28. He had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known and would do anything to help other people. He would go broke and hungry so that others around him wouldn’t have to. He never wanted to see anyone want or suffer, so he would take that burden any way that he could. He had a special place in his heart for children and animals. He loved bringing happiness and smiles to everyone, especially at Christmas or birthdays. My son fought a long hard fight against depression and addiction. He wouldn’t give up for so long because he knew the pain he would cause to all he loved if he were no longer with us. Unfortunately, his fight has come to an end and he is now with God looking down on all of us and smiling. We are all devastated that he is no longer here on this earth with us in body, but he is still here in spirit. We want to honor his memory in a way that he would approve. Our family is asking to not send flowers, instead we would like to raise money to help people and families in need. We want to keep his caring and giving spirit alive by continuing to bring joy and happiness to families and children. We will be donating to those in need whether it be food, clothing, or what ever the need may be. We will also be focusing on children in need some joy on their birthdays or Christmas. We thought about donating to an organization, but I want to make sure that every dollar we receive goes to these families and children. Our goal is to meet with the families and give based on what Scott would have done. The more we can raise the more people we can help. I am not a person to ask for handouts, but this was always important to my sweet boy. Please help us to keep his giving spirit alive if you can.
