Scott Family's Urgent Need for Support

Good Day,

We have fallen under hard times due to both Helene and Milton. But what has really set our family back is the sudden foreclosure of our home of 20+ years. This was my mother's home who passed away in 2019. We have an eviction date of 12/22/2024 with nowhere to go. I am currently out of work with my girlfriend Gina Tillman working to support our 3 children, ages 5, 12, and 16. We do not have the financial means to move out by this date, and our situation is contingent on an emergency hardship letter that was filed on 12/20/2024.

We still have not heard back from the judge, with tomorrow being our only day before Christmas to pack up and move. Our FEMA application has not been approved and is under a 90-day appeal. Despite our efforts to receive assistance for moving/storage, housing, as well as replacing property lost to the hurricanes, we are in dire need of help.

Please know that if there is anything that can be donated, it will go towards a loving family that is trying to put the pieces back together. The goal is to have enough money to cover any temporary or permanent living expenses, recover from money lost due to bills, etc., and food.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, and I pray that our family gets through these tough times. If you can help in other areas such as boxes and storage, low-income rent, or just general resources, that would also be greatly appreciated.
